# API Reference

### Authentication

In order to make API requests, partners need to include an "authorisation header" in each request they make. This header should contain a unique "bearer access token", which serves as a form of authentication.

### Identity Verification Request

The API used for identity verification pre-validates the user's demographic details, including their government ID number (NIK), name, and date of birth (DOB). It verifies these details against authoritative source records and only allows users with valid information to proceed with the face verification process and complete the identity verification. The API ensures the security and accuracy of the identity verification process.
