# Liveness Process

The liveness detection process consists of three primary steps:

1. **Face Detection**: Utilizing Google MLKit, this step detects and locates faces within the image frames captured by the camera. It ensures the presence of a single face in the frame and verifies that no multiple faces are detected.
2. **Face Quality Assessment**: This step performs basic quality checks on the image frames, ensuring they meet essential quality criteria. These checks include eye detection, head position, and distance assessment. This process also captures a stable image frame suitable for further analysis.
3. **Face Liveness Check**: The stable image frame undergoes liveness verification in the Vida backend, utilizing Vida's proprietary AI models to determine its authenticity.
