# Conversion Guide

The VIDA Stack provides partners with a secure and reliable platform to confirm the identity of their users through a comprehensive identity verification process. The process includes various checks and validations to ensure that the user's information and credentials are valid and authorised.

The Conversion Guide is a reference tool that partners can use to manage their identity verification transactions efficiently. It outlines three main categories : Converted, Consider, and Error. Each category has specific criteria that determine the status of a transaction.

### **Converted**

Converted transaction encompasses all identity verification transactions that have been successfully completed. This indicates that the entire identity verification process has been completed, and the result can be either acceptance or rejection of the submitted identity verification request after all the necessary checks have been performed.

**Accept**

When all the three parameter scores (Demographic Verification, Selfie Photo Verification, and Liveness Detection) meet or exceed the pre-set threshold score, the transaction is accepted, and considered as valid and authorised. This allows the user to access the partner's services with confidence.

**Reject**

If any of the parameter scores falls below the pre-set threshold, the transaction is rejected, and the partner can consider the user information submitted for identity verification is invalid. This ensures that the partner only provides access to their services to verified and authorised individuals.

Partners can use the Conversion Guide to monitor the number of converted transactions and the overall success rate of their identity verification process

### **Consider**

The transactions will be under consider when the parameter scores fall below the pre-set threshold score for success, but are still within a range that can be manually reviewed. These transactions require additional scrutiny by authorised personnel to determine whether they should be accepted or rejected. If a transaction is interrupted due to issues with authoritative sources or other external factors, it will also falls under the category of Consider.

**Needs Review**

The transactions in the Consider category require manual review to ensure that they meet the partner's identity verification standards. This review process involves analysing the user's identity documents, comparing them with the user's selfie and other related information, and verifying that the user is who they claim to be.

**Authoritative Sources Error**

Issues with authoritative sources, such as document verification sources or government databases, can cause a transaction to be interrupted. If this occurs, the transaction will be categorised as Consider. In case the issue is due to the authoritative sources servers being busy, the partner should retry the request. If the error is due to an outdated NIK number, the partner should take appropriate measures to obtain the updated information from the user and resubmit it for verification.

### **Error**

The Error category includes transactions that do not complete due to configuration issues or VIDA service errors. These transactions are failed and require troubleshooting to determine the cause of the error. In case of configurations issues such as quote exhaustion or exceeding rate limit, Contact [VIDA support team](mailto:support@vida.id) to extend the limit.

By following the Conversion Guide, partners can effectively manage their identity verification transactions, reduce the risk of fraud, and provide secure access to their services. The guide provides a framework to streamline the verification process and improve the user experience while maintaining the highest standards of security and compliance.
